Future Fade is a yearlong ambient journey, with a new song/video each month to create a 12 track album over the span of a year. Each song represents a moment in time, a scenic vista for the mind to relive through music. Upcoming songs will be added and available to download on the date listed in the track listing.

Mist Formation was built around a constantly evolving main synth that slowly ramps up the filter and changes the chord progression slightly every few bars.

Cloud Beacon began as a synth jam on a recent livestream, but has slowly morphed over time to now include some orchestral sounds mixed in with the original synth parts.

Petrichor is a bit of a departure from the previous songs, with an emphasis on live bass and reverb washed fuzz guitars. With the recent California rain I was also able to add in some local samples.

Parallels is inspired by old NASA footage, and the dichotomy of our desire for exploration against the unknown expanse that is space. The goal of this track was to capture the sense of discovery with the unease and vastness of space.

I’m excited to see what songs develop during this process. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
