Originally written in 2016, the intent behind the track was to explore how dependent we have become to our screens. Computers and phones have become extensions of ourselves and shape the reality we occupy. During the pandemic, the isolation forced life to be lived vicariously within these machines. I wanted to revisit this track and update it both sonically and conceptually given the new context.

Guitars and melodic fragments have been spliced and altered in samplers to present ghostly fragments of a fleeting humanity as it meets machine. Booming beats echo and dance around with new sounds constantly emerging and retreating, an infinity scroll for the ears.

As a thank you for your support on Bandcamp, this release also features a live performance created using spliced samples from the track on an SP-404 and new sounds on a Novation Circuit Tracks. The performance video can be watched here:
